Wanted to do a "Draw This Again" for [link] with some inspiration being taken from :iconmavrosh:'s work. Was low on gray at the time so decided to go with purple rather than blue..... and only realized as I was finishing with him that he kinda looks like Prince Lotor from Voltron. O.o It wasn't intentional and it's not supposed to be him, but I suppose you can pretend if you like?

Markers, brush pen, gel pen, and prisma premier pencils on sketch paper.

I'm betting when he asks for a towel, many folks would hand him a wash cloth. ;P Sweet job on this one.

 I tend to imagine they hand him whatever he asks for... or else. :D

Was this done in marker? What did you color it with?

Primarily with Prismacolor markers. I went in afterward in some areas with a brush pen and others with prisma premier pencils for further detailing. The sky was done with all 3 and gel pen detailing for the stars. :)

Thank you! I love to draw but coloring anything in is where I have trouble, colored pencil work always looks so pale and grainy, I tried crayola marker but it comes out really streaky, oil pastels come out dirty I ned to try something else.

Crayola markers don't really hold up to layering or repeated usage all that well, but some of their other products can produce some interesting results. The type, grain, and thickness of the surface you use will affect how different materials work on it as well. :)
