Burai the Dragon Ranger or Tommy the Green Ranger depending on what you're familiarity/preferences are. Drawn by eye using a combination of 4B and no. 2 pencils, and a photo print-out for ref. Not too thrilled with how the helmet turned out, but the rest is pretty decent.

Reading the section descriptions that pop-up during submission I would say the exact term for this would be a "fanart portrait" as it's a portrait drawing of a character rather than any specific person.

My friends and I had a long conversation about Power rangers the other afternoon. We all agreed that the original series with the green ranger was the best out of all the versions of the Power Rangers. We all reminessed about the fun times we had in groups watching the series and calling out the Power Ranger that we are as the show began with our figures and toys in our hands. Oh, those were the good ol' days.

My brother often says the same thing about the series. My first encounter with the sentai concept came much earlier though, when a joke dub of one of the Super Sentai shows aired for a couple nights on a local channel. I watched PR off and on, and though I appreciate that it's one of the few campy fun sci-fi shows on air, I kinda wish that the companies behind it would release the original versions (where they take their clips from) too.

I will have to agree, the original was the only good one >_> and Green Ranger kicks ass...the Red one also...=D

Wow, that's really damn cool. I remember this show fondly -- not so much in the way transformers was cool, but like one of those guilty pleasures we all had.

Now that I'm done with that, back to drawing boobies.

Really impressive shading and really nice crisp linework aroudn the edges....even if I wouldn't touch the powerangers with a long radioactive stick.: )

"the rest is pretty decent"? The rest kicks ass JR. While the helmet doesn't have the same shine or gleam as the rest seems to its well done anyways. I like this one. :-)

I actually thought the whole Power Rangers show was a good concept the first time I saw the first series. I'm kinda curious--Do they still have a PR series now?

Wow, teh coolness (I'm on a sentai kick at the time, so I appreciated the appearance of this piece). Always love your skills with that pencil!
